A potential surrogate is first contacted through a phone interview. Once she meets all the criteria we set, she needs to complete an extensive application and multiple staff interviews. This thorough process allows us to evaluate her motivation and willingness to become a gestational carrier. We will also assess her medical records from previous pregnancies and send these to your IVF specialist.
Depending on various factors, the matching process can range from a matter of weeks to several months. This is because we only pair surrogates to parents based on their needs or situation and not availability.
